NAZISM ACQUITTED DEMOCRATS PUT ON TRIAL!
THE FASCIST PROSECUTION OF ANTINAZI INITIATIVE WILL NOT PASS!
THEY HAVE CALLED NAZI K. PLEVRIS AS WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION TO ...DEFEND
THE CREDIBILITY OF JUSTICE!
The public prosecutor's office of the Athens Court of Appeal pressed charges (following complaint of nazi K. PLevris) against three members of Antinazi Initiative (Anna Stai, Irene Koutelou, Lampis Katsiapis) for "dissemination of false news that may provoke unrest to citizens".
The three who are prosecuted were witnesses for the prosecution against K. Plevris at the trial for his nazi book under the title "Jews, the whole truth" for which K. Plevris was indicted according to the Greek antiracist law 927/1979. In this book K. Plevris praises the Third Reich and the SS, calls to completion of the genocide of the Jews, to eradication of Greek democrats and to racist violence against the immigrants.
In 2009 the Athens Court of Appeal acquitted the nazi with a monstrous decision that trashed the antiracist law and democratic legality.
During this trial the Antinazi Initiative denounced that two specific public prosecutors and one judge defended K. Plevris and expressed unprecedented antisemitic and pro-nazi positions (such as that this racist book that denies the Holocaust, is a "scientific paper and result of historical research" !!!). Also, Antinazi Initiative has expressed the view that there is a fascist network in the judicial system.
These denouncements and views of Antinazi Initiative, following K. Plevris’ complaint, were characterized recently by the Athens Court of Appeal as "false news that can provoke unrest to citizens". Then the court brought charges against the three members of Antinazi Initiative and called as witness for the prosecution the nazi K. Plevris!!!
• Yet the citizens get restless when the nazis are acquitted, when judges and public prosecutors are antisemites and especially when the courts call nazis as witnesses in order to defend the credibility of justice!
• The citizens get also restless when the open nazi gangs are bullying people following the example of the nazis Assault Squads and these gangs have the status of a legal political party that not only takes part in the general elections (Party of Golden Dawn -“Chrysi Avgi”) but is also invited from the governments and is accepted from all parliamentary parties to assemble together and co-decide for the allocation of television time for candidates in the parliamentary and European elections!
• Finally, the citizens get restless when the whole of the political official world, through the TV media controlled by them, suppress completely the news about such processes, about such positions of judges, about such acquittals of nazis, and in the end about such prosecutions of democrats with the aid of nazis thus encouraging them.
The Antinazi Initiative invites democratic citizens in our country and all over Europe, to stand by its side, to demand its acquittal at the trial of April 12, 2010 and to hinder the process of the gradual and muffled fascization of the Greek judicial and political life.
The trial will be held at the B´ Three Membered Court of Appeals of Athens in 12/4/2010 9am.
